It installed easily and quickly. Good price and fast delivery. This is the 3rd product from etrailer and Curt for me.
Had it on my hitch for a month this spring and then could not get the lock to work and the key was stuck in. Tried oiling and the key finally broke off in my hand. After another couple of months I snapped off the bent end of the pin with a long pry bar. The pin was rusting! Very disappointing for a Master Lock product.
Just got a $xx locking pin through you that looks tougher but it is very hard to use: have to push in on the key pretty hard, while keeping the round lock from turning, and holding in the pin against the pushing on the key. I added a small stainless hose clamp to the lock so that the lock can be held to stop the spinning and hold the thrust of the key.
We trailered our old Ferrari to Florida this spring with the old pin to win our class at Amilia Island – 1946 to 1950 limited production European sports and GT cars. If you check we have a lot of trailer stuff that we got from you in the past and your service and stuff have been great.
This is a great lock, keeps people from absconding with my ball hitch.

After a year all is still operating just fine. Great product for sure.
I just put them on my receiver so I don't know yet how they will hold up under load. They appear to be made well enough to keep honest people honest. Though I'm pretty sure a good whack with a hammer would open them up.

They are working well after a year on my truck. The rubber keyhole covers fell off in about 3 months. So no protection from sand I live in Florida getting into the lock itself. Just have to them clean and lubed.
I had to wiggle this lock pin around to get it inserted into the factory hitch receiver of my 2020 Explorer ST. Hopefully it will come out easily when the time comes. I am disappointed that the chrome finish is showing some surface rust, but it is not visible behind the hitch cover without looking closely.
This locking trailer pin is an excellent addition for my trailer hitch - which by the way was also purchased from etrailer.com - and was a perfect fit , quite easily installed, and looks good. The trailer hitch adapter (also purchased from etrailer.com) is secured as well as my bike rack. I highly recommend this product.
This is a hard one to review. The product looks to be of good Master Lock quality. I could not actually use though because it did not fit my trailer hitch. It was disappointing because it was recommended by the site somewhere. eTrailer was very accommodating, offering to walk me through returning it. I can't give the lock a higher rating because I couldn't use it but it looks to be of good quality.
The locking hitch pin made by MasterLock is one of the better locking pins I have seen - very 'beefy' and well constructed. The locking head swivels so I can access the key slot as it is facing me, versus the others that have the key slot facing to the side of the vehicle which makes it difficult to see if you are trying to find the key slot in the dark. The only minor drawback is that the rubber protective cap that is attached is a little loose and falls away from the lock mechanism occasionally and needs to be put back on again. Nothing a couple wraps of electrical tape didn't fix.
This is a solid, easy to use hitch lock. Unfortunately the rubber dust cover snaps off very quickly. Not a big issue unless you do a lot of towing in muddy areas.
Excellent lock and well made. I really like that the lock swivels. Makes it so easy to unlock. Thanks to Justin for helping me with my order.

excellent purchase. My son just bought the whole trailer set up as well.
This product has proven to be most versatile. I have used it on my Harley Davidson and my truck. It has protected my custom rack on my trike, and the hitch on my truck. It requires only minimal upkeep. I oil the unit lightly before each use. To maintain maximum ease of usage. I use the small pin on the trike and the big pin on on my truck. Great product.
A very simple but effective security device for your bike rack or trailer. It can probably be broken but it'll make a lot of noise in the process. One note: the key has to be in the lock both to remove and reinstall the lock. No big deal but keep the key close.
Great products and communication. Installation instructions were detailed and complete, no missing parts, and I was able to finish attaching my wife's new wheelchair carrier quickly since all of the hitch parts arrived here in Canada super quickly, undamaged, and fit together smoothly. The pin lock continues to work very well for all my needs - basket, bike rack, etc. Have not had any issues with it. I do advise keeping it clean and use a little powdered graphite for the best operation.
Unfortunately, the clearance opening in my tailer hitch and bike rack do not line up properly and I have been unable to use this device.
Liked my first time etrailer ordering and delivery experience. Master hitch receiver lock exactly what I was looking for. Very satisfied. Etrailer will be my go to choice when future trailering equipment needs arise.
